Lynne Kieran was born in London, England. She is classically trained with a talent that covers Opera to Soul. She has performed in "Porgy and Bess", "Little of Horrors" and "Hair" to name a few.
Her humour and her unmistakable voice made her the perfect choice for the leading role of "Carmen Negra" in Viennas Kammeroper. She received great reviews and was discovered by Marcel Prawy who presented her in his concerts in Finkenstein, the Comic Opera House in Berlin and the Vienna Konzert House.
Lynne is an established singer/song-writer. The distinctive sound of her songs and vocal arrangments can be heard on many productions from Classic to Dance including "Lynne's House", the cover version of Ben E. King's hit "Supernatural Thing" and Count Basic - whose first hits "Jazz in the House" and "All time High" were co-composed and sung by her.
Lynne is also one of the founding members of the much acclaimed vocal trio "The Rounder Girls" who had the privilege of representing Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden in 2000.
In March 2009 Lynne sang in the premiere of Christoph Schlingensiefs opera "Mea Culpa" in Viennas Burgtheater and then again in the premiere at the Bayerisches Opera House in Munich.
Her career has taken her around the world to France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Greece, Canada, America, Hong Kong and Russia.
