Lynne's unknown side
Those who know me well know that I love paints, paper, pens etc and can't pass a shop full of shiny - or edible - things without stopping to stare in the window going 'ooh and aah' like a child at Christmas!
I enjoy watching things develop and creating something on a blank canvas is almost as good as baking a chocolate cake (Yum!) and getting to lick the spoon - it makes me feel good!! It's my special past-time - one other being the cinema - and if what I do appeals to others - great!!
It's totally relaxing for me and is inspired by AA - no, not Alcoholics Anonymous (did someone say Caipirinha?) but Africa and Abstract. These 'Artworks' have been done over the last two years, much to the delight of my mother who has one of my first Abstracts from 1983 stuck, very proudly I might add, with cellotape to her wardrobe door in London - Oh Fame!!
It's faded, curling at the edges - but still there!! I've had a great time doing them.
Look around - and enjoy!!
